It might work, but he failed to say that the disc is spinning very fast when you do the swap. If you don't want a chip, just buy swap magic.

The ps2 has to read the disc to get past the security checks. You will risk breaking your ps2 just to save $25.

the method does work
i tried it with my old ps2 but only with psone gamess
for some reason the ps2 wont read ps2 disc
