I don't know about khypermedia cds,but I definitely won't let their dvd media near any of my burners, LOL

Khypermedia=CMC=The Plague.
Better off pressing the DVD you want to back up to silly putty then rubbing the silly putty on your eye to view it, better results and much more amusing.
Naw, I take that back, they are good for making copies of your wedding video to give to your Ex-wife. Within a year or two they won't play at all........

Tried this media on four different burners, not one would burn it, just shows that burners have feelings too, treat them to quality and they will work for you.

you know its quire amazing that the company i work for now has decided to sell dvd and cdr media.My boss wanted me to burn some stuff for him and said here you go use these.Iwas prepared to take them until i saw what they were.

Khypermedia? Let's see, How can I say this: They are JUNK. Don't buy them, unless you're in need of some coasters. I tried these once. Not good at all!

how bout staples branded media? Cmc or what??? Im curious cause 50 of them is 20.00 right now.:>

Hit up Best Buy. All there Fuji media is 50% off. So that means 100 packs for 35 bucks, 50 packs for 20 bucks, and 15 packs for 10 bucks. Just make sure you get the MADE IN JAPAN.

DEFINITELY stay away from the Staples brand..you COULD get Optodisc (which SUCK btw) manufactured media, OR the CMC MAG crappola~ :)
even the "best of the bunch" being the FUJIFILM03 8x DVD-R media is STILL not as good as the Taiyo Yuden/Verbatim MCC/Maxell-Hitachi made media~ :)
don't waste your $20 on that crap, best buy Fuji as Jasper mentioned is MUCH BETTER...look for the MADE IN JAPAN though..as even the "made in taiwan" Prodisc in the 8x DVD-R Fuji is better than Optodisc/CMC MAG stuff by Staples brand~ :)

Office Depot 8X are made by Ritek, Office Depot 16X are Riccoh JPN, both are good, never had any luck with Staples, either made in India, or made in China. If you have a BJ's Wholesale club near you they always carry Fuji MIJ's for 19.99 for a 50 pack, no sale needed.
