I have been at this for hours with no luck. Started with DVDfab then tried DVD decyripter no luck. Some one else said they tried it with AnyDVD and had no luck either. I don't know what else to try. Its a Disney film. What's happening is the main title just doesn't seem to be there when I run it through the DVD shrink. Every thing else I can copy but where did the main title go to? There is a 800 number written on the disc to call for technical assistance but some how I don't think they would want to help me on this. Any ideas?
Thanks.

I backed up Sky High movie only with DVD Shrink and any dvd,but had to use the edit option in shrink to get rid of the black screen at the begining of the movie same as with Madagascar.

GOOD LUCK.........

Thanks

O.K. Everybody, here's a quick and painless way to copy Sky High. I'm talking about a full DVD5 copy with all menus and features.

1. Have AnyDVD running in the system tray.
2. Using DVD Decrypter, choose ISO Read mode. Rip an ISO image of the DVD onto you hard drive.
3. Next, using Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% mount your freshly created ISO file onto a virtual drive.
4. Then using DVDClone2, select Clone DVD and browse for the image mounted on the virtual drive. Then select which audio streams/subtitles you want to keep, and proceed to shrinking it and burning it.

This worked for me without any problems at all. But make sure you use DVDClone2, I tried using DVDShrink and I kept getting the memory error. Hope this helps, happy burning. :)

Here is a mini guide (3 simple and easy steps) for all NEWBIES.

I GUARANTEE YOU 100% that you will have a fully working backup of SKY HIGH in less than 45 minutes.

This is for any newbies that doesn't have any successful backup yet, or for those that doesn't have the latest from AnyDVD, and or all your other methods has failed.

NOTE: the below pictures is for Newbies only and or others that's interested in VobBlanker. This is specifically for SKY HIGH only.

1) Rip the movie using DVD Decrypter on Mode, File F into your hard drive. (Make sure your "destination" is your VIDEO_TS folder inside your SKY HIGH folder, and your "source" is where the original movie is located [dvd-rom drive or your dvd burner]). When you're ready just hit DECRYPT. Sit back and relax until DVD Decrypter successfully ripped/decrypted all of the dvd files into your hard drive, then you can closed DVD Decrypter now. **(This shouldn't be hard and it should only take about 12 - 14 minutes only).

2) now open up VobBlanker, (a) on "INPUT" - browse to your VIDEO_TS folder that is inside SKY HIGH folder from your hard drive (this is your dvd files that DVD Decrypter ripped earlier). (b) on "OUTPUT" - browse to your VIDEO_TS folder that is inside NEW_SKY HIGH folder (this is your new SKY HIGH folder that you'll need to import/load into DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2 to "encode or compress"). (c) click on VTS_01_*.VOB, you'll see PGC 1, PGC 2 and PGC 3 on the display below, now HIGHLIGHT ONLY PGC 2 & PGC 3 and click on "BLANK", then just click on "PROCESS". Now sit back, relax until VobBlanker is successfully completed (this process should take about 10 - 15 minutes only, depending on how fast is your computer). Once it's done, just exit it out.

3) now open up DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2, (a) import your VIDEO_TS folder inside NEW_SKY HIGH folder and just encode or compress with your usual process of encoding/shrinking. (b) once you're done, you can burn this baby on any of your desire burning engines. That's it.. it's a piece of cake, easy as sippin' on a Corona.

Again, if you follow these steps exactly and carefully, I GUARANTEE 100% that you'll have a successfully working "full disc" backup.

Enjoyed and happy burning!!!

Geeze, I always do this and it has never stopped me from ripping properly. Methinks something is amiss.

Yes!
DVDFab version 5.9.5.2 worked when DVD Shrink and DVD43 combo didn't.
But then if you want the Movie Only, DVD Shrink Authoring works well on its own. Choice of method.
I've found LG Software 1Click DVD Copy...worthless.
Appears you have quiet a few responses on this topic.
Good Luck

Anydvd & CloneDVD worked for me when I was using the trial version. I purchased the programs from Slysoft. I Will use recode 2 in the future.

This works for me a lot of the times.

I stole this from another thread here for flight plan btw.

Rip movie to your computer using DVD Decrypter in ISO mode. It will put 2 files on your computer, one about 8 gig and the other about 9 MB. You can delete the small one.

Open DVD Shrink (be sure any previous analyze files for this movie are deleted first). Go to file--Open disk image. Find your movie and then away you go.
