I installed anydvd and it worked great at first. I have, I copy DVD's 2 also and I had to uninstall DVD43 as per anydvd. then for about 2 times I copy worked with anydvd in the backgroud but now it won't. It starts then says trouble selecting title files. and still on shrink I have problems it says shrink has an error not enough space but i have 320 gig hard drive with about 260 free. also i have record now from sonic and now it won't either! i also have clone2 and have tried backing up Madagascar and Are we the yet? it goes through the whole process and says sucseesfull but the disk won't play. copuld this be from the Sony rootkit virus?

it sounds liek you have two many software programs running and that they may be conflicting with each other.Have you tried to uninstall them all, then put one back on at a time and tried to reburn your project.

Hi randy9660,

You have 2 issues that must be addressed.

1. Completely uninstall DVD43 OR get rid on AnyDVD. DVD43 will decrypt about 85% of the DVD's out there while AnyDVD will do 100%. The choice is yours.

2. You will continue to have problems until you get rid of Sonic Now. Roxio will conflict with almost every backup program made.
a. Delete Roxio from your Control Panel's Add and Remove Programs.
b. Next, you MUST run this program to totally get rid of Roxio.

Remove all of Roxio's tentacles and tendrils with Roxio Zapper -

Once you've done that, reboot your PC to "flush" everything out of your PC's system :)

It couldn't hurt to run RegClean also - I like to keep my registry clean so I run it after every uninstall and after every few installs as there are files that are left "dangling" after installation -
