trouble with dvd decrypter and madagascar

im trying to back-up advd im useing dvd decrypter to just get the vob for madagascar
but there are so many folders in the input tab i tried to pick the biggest one but it still doesnt work. someone please help me

Do a search for dvdfab.
Download the free version.
Install it.
Use it.
Now use DVD Shrink to re-author and back up.

Worked for me.

btw I had AnyDVD running in the background, but I am not sure it was needed.
anydvd has a free trial version, so you should be able to get madagascar backed up.

Just what I have found to work for me.

Trying to rip a VOB will not work - think you need to read some guides - try this one for starters

To copy Madagascar - try this method

Rip with DVD Decrpyter using ISO Read mode

Open the resulting Disk Image in DVD Shrink

Let Shrink analyse the movie

Use Re-author to do main movie only - get rid of all unecessary languages/audio streams etc.

Burn the movie using Nero or similar - easy.

do this movie with AnyDVD and clone dvd2 from slysoft (21 day free trials) or dvdfab decrypter (free). i like AnyDVD because it decyrpts the new movies like madagascar in the background so all you have to do is use clone dvd 2 or Nero or dvdshrink. (note: clonedvd2 works better encoding the new movies because they are made by the same company so if you have problems with other software try clonedvd2 with AnyDVD.

clonedvd2 and AnyDVD would not do madagascar for me.
would not do christmas with the kranks, or layer cake.
all sony movies.

simply put, dvdfab (free version)
with AnyDVD running in the background worked for me.
end of story, no special methods, iso or anything I cannot understand! lol

also I dont get why someone would say to analize with DVD Shrink but then to burn with Nero?

My dvdshrink does the analysis then when you hit the back up button, it automatically uses Nero to burn.
It does not require me to "think"

I am new nad like to use the quickest way to back up, with out hassle.
