how do i make 6 movie files connected as one file

i have 6 decrypted dvd files and i want to patch them all up to one file as to not make a hindrance of selecting next track every time i watch the movie. how do i do this? thanks.

hi, just a couple of questions.

what software are you using or have?
are all the files uniform?
what did you use to convert them?
how big is the overall project?

The way i would do it would be to convert each part to mpeg2 either as a batched project or individually by using vso DivX to dvd as long as they were all AVI to start with.

Once converted they are now a dvd compliant file.

The next step is to start Nero recode and choose the option to remake dvd.
Load all the files and then select to merge them.(see image below)its rather easy all you need to do is hilight them all and press the merge button.Its done automatically for you.



then continue on with the prompts and burn your project to disc.

the files are uniform at ".vob" format.. is there a way to patch them all up directly from ".vob"? rather than converting them to AVI?

i used DVD Decrypter for these files to come out, can you recommend any other free downloadable programs that i can use to get movies from dvds to my computer converting them directly to ".avi"?

then you still dont have a problem, just skip the 1st step and open Nero recode and off you go.A VOB is already in an mpeg2 format but originally would of been an AVI probably

after you add all the files just merge them.You could probably download and use the trial version of Nero to accomplish this

Another way is to convert 'em to mpeg2 format.
Use VobEdit to Demux the .VOB series of your interest for every project you want to include in your compilation.
Then Use TMPGEnc (free version) to encode the elementary streams also fo every project.
Then you can use Nero Recode to make your final project. DivXtoDVD (last free version) is also a good choise.

actually im not gonna make the movie into a dvd again.. i just want it combined because im going to play it in my ipod video, i want it to be just one file. is there a way to combine those mpeg-4 files into just one file? it is divided into 4 i want it to become just 1. sorry im a newbie here
