Hey!

I'm new on this page and this is my first post. I've been downloading movies for quite a time and always watched them on my computer. I know its possible to burn them over to a DVD cd and watch them on my console, but I don't know how. I have a DVD burner on my computer and I use NERO. So I was wondering if anyone had a step by step guide of how to burn my movies in to DVD format ( and convert the files into the right type, and all that). Would be great.
My question may seem a little unspecific, but my english or my computer skills isn't too good.

1st of you have 2 points of call.

The first one is to go and download avicodec from the link below.Run your file through it and copy and paste the results here.

next is to download an encoder which will convert your avi/divx file to an mpeg2 or dvd compliant form.
Try the link below for the free version of vso DivX to dvd:

http://www.filepedia.com/video_software/dvd-r_tools/vso_divxtodvd...

although this version is free its also dated to the degree that it is starting to have issues decoding the newer files so if that is the case with you files you may need to download a newer version which has a trail attached to it.The link below has a week trial attached to it:

http://www.filepedia.com/video_software/dvd-r_tools/vso_divxtodvd.cfm

once you have converted the files let me know how it goes.
