I have Football Manager 2006 in a folder.I have 2 files,1 file is an MDF File,and the other is an MDS File.The MDF File is 770,398kb and the MDS File is 3kb.

I am trying to open the larger file with WinRar but when I try and open it with WinRar it says 'The archive is either in unknown format or damaged'.

What do I do to get the game working on my PC? THANKS

open the MDS File with DVD Decrypter or if you have Alcohol 120% select Image Burning option then select the MDS file, this is only if you want to burn the game to a CD. You should also be able to open the Files with IsoBuster to extract the files.

I have all those programs you mentioned.I am trying to use IsoBuster to open and extract the file but there are a lot of files,which one shall I extract.

I have clicked on the MDF File and that is the one were there are a lot of files.What shall I click on,MDF or MDS?

I've done most of the work but I just want to now how to unzip, and update my existing fm2006 installation to v6.0.1(this is the patch for fm2006).
