Hey everyone, hope everyone is doing well, the question i have i bought some seasons of tv shows, and i'm wondering if u can use dvd shrink for them like seinfeld for example and how much is the usual that can fit on a 4.7 gb dvd+r, thanks for any help

Well first there's Winter, then Spring, then in about august you get fall and towards the end of the year you get winter which will carry on to the start of the next year.

You can fit one original disc to one DVD5, it's just like any other movie.

If you have Dual Layers I say still do only 1 to a disc, so you get a 1:1 perfect copy. But if you want to then think about it logically, DUAL layer, 2 disc to a DL makes sense, if you use shrink that is. But I think the compression would be a little off there b/c even though the label will say that a DL disc is 8.5 gigs (might be off) it's actually a off by a few megs. And a single layer disc is actually only 4.38(might be off), when it says 4.7. Do the math, 2 single layer disc is more than 1 DL.

I have backed up all seasons of Sopranos, Alias, Deadwood, and Oz. Each disc, if done in Reauthor mode should give you all the episodes of one disc on one disc. In other words DVD Shrink will put Season 1 Disc 1 on one sinle layer disc, and so on and so forth.
