Thank you. I use Winavi with VobSub running in the background,VobSub starts automatically and incorporates the subtitles(and is free!), is a very easy,one step process, but I was just wondering if it could be done with Nero...instead of WinAvi, for better quality and to be able to add menus.

I'm afraid Nero can't do that job. Not that i know of anyway... But AnyDVD works with Nero... VobSub might do it aswell... There's only 1 way to find out tough...

Unfortunately I uninstalled Nero( craked version,errors,blah,blah...)Maybe I will install again and give it a try...

yep, you guys are right right, nobody is gonna tell me I can't back-up my store bought anything period.
Off the subject, quick question, does anybody know what snail mail means. My wife asked me if it might mean regular mail, I said don't know, never heard it before.

I don't copy games, I "acquire" them. Let's leave it at that lol. I bought some of those High Grade Hitachi Maxell DVD+R's for backing up movies. Wal-Mart only had em in 5 packs. I don't like using my Yuden's to back up movies. So far I've used Ritek G05's for backing up movies and they work fine. I can't wait to try out the High Grade Hitachi Maxells. By the way you guys were right about Nero Recode 2, it's twice as fast DVD Shrink, with the same quality. Nice program. Thanks for the tip. Cheers!

You should definitely give those High Grade MIJ by Hitachi a try, it's long overdue buddy. If you burn them using Nero, which I believe your drive does support "book type", so it's wise to book type them into DVD-ROM for better compatibility. Just burn them at 4X or 8X if you have the latest firmware on your drive. Let me know what's your results.
Honestly, my DRU710A loves to burn them Hitachi, Yudens and Verbs flawlessly.

considering the fact that alkohol's burner is the same as mine (just a rebadged one) i bought a 25 pack at wal mart just for kicks, i have not opened them yet, due to the fact i just got 300 riteks from O.D. the other day......... but i am gonna give em a test here in a few weeks. i am going to test my burners limit, see what it can really do..

LOL- Couldn't have said it better myself. That seems to be a daily occurence when I venture into the PS2 forums anymore. Yeah my Sony DRU 810-A supports booktying/bitsetting. I've booktyped several DVD+R DL discs to DVD-ROM with no problems. Yeah I'm going test out those Maxell DVD+R's momentarily. Do you know any place that has them in bulk? Where I live there are no CompUSA or Office Depot's within 20 minutes of my house.

let me set the story straight. i was gone all weekend then to my surprise when i tried to login i was banned. i went around asking my mom and dad if ne of them had been on my comp, but neither of them knew my password for windows. then i immediatly knew who it was. my 9yo brother got the beating of his life(i made sure of it) LOL. sry for ne problems. BTW he knew my password bc its the same for everything, including his beloved starcraft game. once again sry guys.

You need to apologize to the Mods, not to us, but obviously i hope you do like everyone else: Have a different pass for the important things like AD! And if you're sharing that pc, make sure you logout...
I'm no one here to give you a b@l@ckin, but it's sad to see these very busy Mods wasting time cleaning that kind of stuff...
