Not a very good week for media. Lots of memosux sales at staples/office depot/and bestbuy for $15-$16 for spindles of 50.
Best buy has the Verbatim 16x 25 packs for $8
Office max has Verbatim 16x 50 packs for $15 and 25 packs for $8
Circuit city has Sony -1x-8x: 50 pack for $18
Comp USA has 100 packs of TDK +8x for $35
Anybody come accross any good deals,just post them right here!

Haven't checked the BB ad yet, but on p3 of the OM ad they have 10-packs of the Verb DLs for 19.99 again (mislabeled as a 3-pack, but given that it says you save $15 it has to be the 10-packs). Damn, they're selling them in-store again and they still haven't filled my backorder of 15 10-packs from the last sale.
What's good is that it's no obvious that these DL Verbs are part of the rotation of things which are routinely on sale, meaning no one has to panic when they see them announced somewhere at 19.99.

Office Max never called me on my Verb DL 10 pack raincheck either. Oh well, they don't want my money, im sure some other store will be glad to take my cash!

I hate to Rain on the Parade, but I was just in Best Buy & They have Verbatim DVD+R & -Rs, 16X 25 pack spindles for $7.99. But No, they do not have a Sale on Verb Dual Layer 10 packs this week.
They're $34.99. Those 16X, 25 packs are a Steal at $7.99 though! Got me some!

My local BJ's has Fuji made in japan(TY) +R 50 pk for 19.99 minus 10.00 off at register w/coupon = 9.99 and then a 5.00 rebate by mail for a total of 4.99 for the 50. At 10 cents a disk, this is by far the best I have come across. They also have - format as well.

As I said in another post, Best Buy price matched a Compusa Black Friday ad on Saturday and I bought 2 10 packs of Verbatim DL for $19.99. I am not sure when the prices in that Compusa ad expired.

good thing i got there early at best buy, they only had 1 left of the verbs on the shelf, so i snatched it up. asked if they had more, and the guy said what you see is what you get..... rude, yes. so i asked another guy, they had a whole new shelf set up, grabbed me 8 spools of the 25pk and left happy, even bought some for my dad, who stupidly picked up a 25pk of memosux the day before.... knowing well and good i told him never to buy them..... does he listen? no. so i figured i'd correct his mistake, got him 2 spools. for his one wrong, i did him 2 right, buying him the verbs !!
been a while since i have visited the media thread..
hope everyone had a good turkey day !

that was very nice of you to do for your father...i HOPE you are returning those Memosux on his behalf? if it were MY dad, i would drive all the way to BestBuy to DEMAND a refund for Memosux~! simple mistake, very easily taken care of...glad to hear you got yourself quite a few spindles of the Verbs~ sounds like a plan to me...

Hey Doc........ long time no talk. well, i can't take back his media, he bought it on a military base and i can't get in there. plus, he has used a few....... what makes me mad at him though as he knows of which media to buy. i dunno, i guess in his old age, he tends to forget. well, at least i got him on track, he will be stocked for a while anyway.
