PLEASE HELP!!!! Copy Protection - I/O Device Error...

Just recently I started getting "failed to read E:\ The request cannot be performed because of an I/O device error. Dvd Shrink, Dvd Decrypter, and DVD Fab Decrypter all get the same error. I even tried creating another backup of an original DVD that I have done in the past and I get the same errors. I am running Windows XP media center 2005 and Nero 6.
What do I need to do to fix this?????

How about pasting your nero Log files for us to take a look at.

Find them: C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroHistory.log

The I/O error comes up when I go to shrink the original DVD and not when I copy the files to a DVD+R. Sorry for the confusion.
