DAEMON Tools is a virtual cd/dvd-rom emulator. It is able to emulate nearly all known copy protections on the market today. !! THIS VERSION SUPPORTS X64-PLATFORMS ONLY !! This version has an option to install client-side software applications (DAEMON Tools Searchbar and Save Now) that deliver a limited number of behaviorally targeted and contextually relevant coupons, ads and comparative shopping results directly to consumers desktops - without compromising the privacy, security or smooth functioning of peoples computers! No URL hijacking or redirects! In order to support FREE distribution of DAEMON Tools we highly encourage you at least to try out this optional software!

For anyone trying to beat SecuROM7 with DT4 X64, it differs from the regular version. You have to deny permission not to the Software\D-Tools registry entries, but dtscsi references in the Current Control Set. I don't know why, but the 64bit version doesn't even have an entry in the local software.
For anyone interested, I can email some batch files I've made to do it and undo it.

Yeah, I got the idea from the AntiBlah batch files, and these work the same way. It hides all the virtual SCSIs, and it also hides information in the control set. I had read on a DTools forum that you should deny permission to the DTOOLS registry entry, but the x64 version doesn't seem to use that entry, so I searched through to find entries to try hiding, leading me to the current control set.
I don't know why, but these fixes only seem to work for a short time. The AntiBlah worked fine for me for a few days, then I had to hide control set information and it worked for a few more days, but now its not working again. I'm not sure what's causing this, and I'm pretty much out of ideas, sorry.
