The subject title is the error code I'm getting.
I've read a lot of stuff here, but cannot find exactly what I
need to know, so here goes.
I downloaded DVD shrink because I thought that is what I needed.
What I want to do is compress my camcorder DVD-RW or DVD-R. It's
currently 1.35GB. I'd like to compress it and have it on my hard
drive so I can edit it and upload portions to a website.
I don't know where to begin or what I need. At this point I haven't
even figured out how to load it to my hard drive. The only options
I'm given are to play it in WIN-DVD or Windows Media Player.
What am I missing? I sure hope you can help me since I just spent
the money on the dang thing (camcorder) for the purpose I mentioned.

I've encountered that error before trying to rip Menace II Society. I never was able to successfully rip the disc and I've tried everything I can think of.

I was going to edit my first post, but I see there isn't an
edit button, so here's some more information.
I have Windows XP with 143GB with 117GB free space. The ram is.....
Oh good grief, I can't remember where to find it. Hope it's not
important.
So, since my first post, I've downloaded DVD FABDecrypter. I loaded
the movie onto my hard drive, but it's still 136GB and now it looks
like the first part is missing. I'm so confused. How do I shrink
it down?

Thanks Dakota. I was looking for it under my name and didn't think
to look elsewhere.

Actually, there is an edit button. See that little icon with the pencil and paper on the top right corner? That's the edit button.
