DNAS 612 CANT GET ONLINE

Ok, i know you guys have gotten this problem alot, and ALOT of people have fixed it. the thing is, they dont exactly say HOW to fix it. here's the deal: i have a PS2 and network adapter. I have a linksys wireless router and a DWL G820 Game adapter. With my XBOX i can get online fine with this combination. But with the PS2 it gets me online but says cant verify a connection to SCEA consumer services. Now here's the thing. When I put in the DNS Server adress i get from my computer it says the problem is 612. When i put in some fake shake made up DNS Server Address it says problem 613. It cost me like 100 dollars. The DNS Server it gives me is 172.169.68.1
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

also, another problem i have is i cant log in to my router. My dad set a password and can't remember what it is. Is there any way around this??

hey im haveing the same probly, it keeps saying there was and erro (-612)DNS server is not conecting... if you find out how to fix this message me...thanx

HEY im havein the same ****ing problem erro -612??? but here's my deal I have a belkin wireless router downstairs and my laptop upstairs along with my ps2,,the internet works on my pc but when I try and got on the internet with my ps2(witch is hooked up to my pc useing a standerd ethernet cord) it keeps saying theres a DNS erro (-612)...If you find out wtf is goin on and how to fix it please tell me how ;)
