Burned Game Goes to Memory Card with CD Screen instead of starting up????

Hi guys,

I was wondering I burned the new Smackdown game with the DVD decrypter method and it worked. Yet when I do the same thing with a different game it just takes me to a Memory Card with a CD Screen???

Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong and how I can fix it, thx.

How do you expect anyone to help you with that little bit of info?
What game?
What mod do you have?
did you download it off the net?
cd or dvd?
what brand media?
etc....

It's the new Soul Caliber 3 game, I don't know what the name of the mod chip is but I got the file off of a torrent site and the game is about 4GB.

I'm using Maxell DVD's to burn this.

Maxell outsources their DVD's to multiple manufacturers. Put the burned DVD in your drive. Under manufacturer ID in DVD Decrypter check to see what the media code is. If it's CMC, get some better media. If it's Ritek G05, you should be okay. Try burning slightly slower, around 2x.

A. Use DVD Decrypter. Guide: http://www.angelfire.com/games6/easytutorial/dvddec/dvddec.html Burn at 4x on an 8x DVD-R.

2. Q. Does the type of media I use matter?

If you're too lazy to read, use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, Sony, TDK, Maxell, Sony or Phillips DVD-R's. Avoid Memorex, Staples, Imation, etc.

How do I get the Manfacture ID to show up in DVD Decrypter, whenever I select the file it only shows the disc information, sorry if I'm asking to many questions.

You just open DVD Decrypter then put in your burned DVD. It'll pop up after you insert the burned DVD into your DVD-ROM drive.

Yeah man, when I put the DVD onto DVD Decrypter it says that it's a Ritek Disk and I tried burning it slower (1x) but now it sometimes takes me to the screen with the memory card and the cd, and it also takes me to the cloudy red screen where it says to insert a ps2 format DVD??
