I am at my end! I have tried everything and still not one successful PS2 burn and boot.
I have Alcohol 120%, DVD Decrypter, Nero Ultra 6, ISO Buster, blah blah.
I tried the simplest version first with the simple ISO read and write with DVD Decrypter. I repeatedly get I/O errors immediately upon burn. Tried several different games. Same result. I can copy DVD video with this method successfully.
Next, I tried Alcohol 120%. I followed the directions on the Alcohol website to use the Image Creation Wizard and Image Burn Wizard. Disk burned, but would not boot with Swap Magic. I receive error of Not a valid PS2 disk.
Then, I tried Alcohol 120% with a forum thread instruction of using the Copy Wizard. Burned the disk, but unable to boot with Swap Magic. Same error.
Someone please help before I have no hair left from ripping it from my head.
I have a BENQ 1625 and am using Verbatim DVD-R. In general, I am choosing the slowest available burn speeds (usually 2.4x). Games I have tried are Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkahban and Downhill Domination.
yeah lol i just got my magic swap3 after a whole months wait well 2 weeks actually lol but yeah...idk i got tired of it...im asuming my ps2(slim.Ver.) cant play DVD+RW so what im gonna do is go buy some DVD+R's single use thats what most people are saying good luck...reply if u find out your solution. ps. trying every single method tires u out i just gave up and if the DVD+R's dont work imma be really mad!!!
