Dealing with DNAS...

I have a question about getting around DNAS. I'll let this quote speak for me:

Basically, here it is in short form:
Apparently what he's claiming is that DNAS authentication codes are the same for each game in the last 3 digit pairs.
So if "XX.XX.9B.1D" were the DNAS authentication code in question, then the first 4 digits could be whatever you wanted them to be. It'd authenticate and you'd be able to run multiple copies online at the same time (including the original).
Is there any validity to this (I'm only asking basically to protect myself in case something like this happens)?

Yes,the last few numbers are always the same and the first 4 can be anything random between 0-9 a-f

Okay, sweet (actually, I dug up the USA DNAS topic before I went to sleep last night so this topic became obsolete after that).
My only other question is can I rip a burned game to patch? I know that the ID Utility-thing won't work on burnt games but can I just rip the burned game and then assign it the DNAS using these codes as you would had you jacked it from the ID Utility?

test it out. Make an iso with dvddecrypter, should work no problem.

Should I do that with my DVD writer or just my DVD-ROM (because if its the writer, I need to figure out how to make it work correctly)?

you should be able to use the dvd-rom to make the image. just choose the dvd-rom instead of the dvdrw drive in decrypter.

get windip 1.7 much easier to use (this is if disc ID insertor has manual stuff to do). try sksapps.com he should have both insertor and windip.

Okay, I did everything on PS2NFO told me to get the game working online (including burning a new game).
Now the game won't load with my Swap Magic disc. Something more I need to do?

The original burnt game worked with a normal boot cycle but I'm not sure about my new copy.
EDIT: Nope, the game isn't listed there.
You know, I just noticed, in all this time, I never said what game I'm trying to play.
I'm trying to get Battlefield 2 to work online.

if you can't get the game to start/boot then it's not a dnas issue (but I'm sure you already know this). maybe something went wrong with the burn?

Well, I was only posting here since I wanted to keep all my issues in one topic instead of whining everywhere.
But, anyway, I burned the .MDS file instead of the .ISO and the game booted (and worked online no less).
So I'm set, thanks for your help.

Thats good that you got it to work,i had no problems getting BF:2 MC to work online,WinDIP is freakin awesome.
Madden 06,Call of Duty-Big Red One,and BF2 all work online.
