This may be on the wrong track, but if you know the particular file that has the VOB stuff that is preventing the copying - why not just deselect that file when in DVD Decrypter and it shows you the whole menu of files on the DVD? Isn't that pretty much the same thing as blanking it out after the rip, only doing it before the rip with the same program intead of multiple programs. Probably not that simple, but hey the only dumb question is the one unasked.

Because you can not tell which files is good and which files is bad at that time (when using DVD Decrypter). So, you'll have to have VobBlanker to preview and see what's inside, and if it's likely/suspicious to be junk, then you can "blank" it out.

Good afternoon all. I'm having trouble with getting vobblanker to fix Shy High. I've followed the instructions to the T and it keeps giving me an error: error reading input VOB: unsynchronized. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks!!
Import the files into Shrink. Go to Re-Author, and pull out just the main movie. Strip it of all subtitles, and sound language files you don't want to improve compression.
If you don't want a full backup, but just a backup of the movie, you should have no issues with Shrink. I had that same issue with Madagascar.
If you do want all of it, I'd suggest re-ripping the movie with AnyDVD running, and use either CloneDVD2, or DVDFAB Decrypter.
