please someone help me...i burned a dvd-rom using toast 6. It contained video_ts and audio_ts file in it....my problem is that when i tried to play it on my powerbook it worked fine but on standalone dvd players, farily new ones, i was prompted either with a "prohibitted" mesage or the image was shaky and there was no audio...please help me...
Go to open files and select the video_ts folder you are working from. Remove all audio except AC3 5.1 and any/all subtitles you dont need. If you want to keep the menus and special features, then apply maximum compression to them, so that your main movie will have the highest quality. If you just want the main movie, go to reauthor mode and double click the main movie, then as above remove the audio and subtitles.
Go to edit, preferences, preferences tab and set custom size to 4300. This will keep you from burning too close to the edge of the disc.
Click on backup, in the window that pops up select target as: ISO image file. This will create an ISO file for you to burn with your favorite burn engine.
Don't burn at more than half the rated speed of your blank media.
