I am quit new to this compilation and recompilation stuff and read lots of guides but still unsure of what to do next#?
so please any help is appreciated!
The game I am trying to back up is Xenosaga I on PS2 and is size 7.88 GB as ISO format. I also have DVDDecrptor, Nero burner, SWap Magic 3.6, and DVdshrink 3.2 (that doesn't work). Using DVD Decrytpor ripped the [7.88 GB] ISO and got the files DVDIMAGE.I00 size [5.3GB], DVDIMAGE.I01 [2.5 GB] and DVDIMAGE.MDS [9Kb]. Intially tried burning the MDS file using DVD+R 9 and DVD decrytpor but the game didn't work even after changing book type to DVD-ROM but couldn't change to DVD size 8.5 GB, don't know how to? Also when tying to burn them and splitt using DVD5-R i get the message " Failed to reserve Track; Invalid Field in CDB"
Now i am not sure what to do next as have tried burning the entire 7.88 GB ISo file into aDVD 9 +R but that didn't work. Also tried burning the compiled 5.3 GB into DVD-9 that didn't work. Then tried to burn the 5.3 GB in a DVD-5 R using DVDDecryptor but got the message that overburn can damge the Dvd writer and may result in unstable playing!
I have already used up my money in buying the two DVD+R9 and all i have is DVD-R5. Can someone tell me what should i do with these files (DVDIMAGE.I00), (DVDIMAGE.I01), (DVDIMAGE.MDS) , are there setting in DVDDecryptor to change into DVD+9 (8.5GB), are there anyways to back it up into 3 * DVD5+R? if there is can u tell me the steps exactly? cause all the guides are diffent and confusing.Also
what programs should be used?
