Do you have the AD3 5.1 english checked?
Try re-ripping. It has to be something simple. (I would think)

There are a lot of AnyDVD fans in these forums and it is without offence to any of you that I ask for your help, first because after searching hundreds of posts all pertaining to the success of AnyDVD and, second, of all the decrypters AnyDVD has to be mentioned more than any other?anyway I need your help.
With Bewitched I have been unsuccessful in backing up my purchased copy. In one test scenario I am using 1ClickDVD with DVD43 (all are updated to the latest version and my NEC-5100A optical is loaded with the latest firmware). The results of the backup is only one VOB file (it should be about four) and the content of the file is about 15 minutes in length from somewhere around the seventy-percent run time into the movie.
The second test scenario uses 1ClickDVD and the latest version (just released) of AnyDVD. The backup or ripping works fine (four VOB files and other ISO files, etc.) except there is no sound. I noticed another post in one of the forums describing the same problem trying to backup Polar Express -- no sound. Incidentally, Bewitched is being distributed by Sony and Polar Express comes to us from Time Warner.
Between test scenarios I have deleted the opposing decryption software so during Test One, AnyDVD was unloaded using Windows Software Removal and similarly in Test Two, DVD43 was removed.
The commonality could be 1ClickDVD, however, with all the other variables and the results being so radically different I?m thinking I?m dealing with a unique DVD encryption that DVD43 cannot crack and the latest version of AnyDVD is backing up without sound.
Help and comments from the pros is very much appreciated.

I believe it?s a problem with both movies Polar Express and Bewitched in the decryption process with the latest-just-released version of AnyDVD. When I use the same software combination of AnyDVD and 1ClickDVD to decrypt and backup War of the Worlds, it works fine.
Incidentally for those trying to assist, there is no sound in the VOB file before the file is burned to a blank DVD.
Any help from the senior pros on this one?

Creaky,
Given all the information and the two test scenarios, can you theorize the cause of the problem? Have you been able to either replicate the described problem with the combination of software (latest releases) or been successful with both combinations and the latest release of AnyDVD with either Polar Express or Bewitched?
A concise analysis besides mention there are "no funny" encryptions would be helpful in the troubleshooting process. Much thanks!

hi. i don't have AnyDVD, nor Bewitched. However i do have Polar Express and there are no newer troublesome protections on this one that Shrink cannot handle, either for me or anything else i've read

Thanks so much!
From the replies I'm not seeing much use or support for 1ClickDVD; I'll consider changing to one of the other mentiioned COPY programs.

sounds to me like the problem lies in 1 click. I use any dvd and DVD Shrink and have backed up both movies with no problems. Bewitched and polar express. the only problem i have ever had was with hitch and spanglish with a file structure error. But That was before i had any dvd. after words no problems even with those two that i had problems with.

Polar Express is very easy to rip, just use the latest version of DVDfab decrypter (under free stuff). If DVD Shrink fails to open your files, just blank the VOB on which it fails using VobBlanker. On many movies, the failing VOB is in the extras part, so you miss nothing blanking it.
But I am wondering. Polar Express has 3 version of the main movie with one audio channel per version. Is there a way to reauthor it into a single main movie with 3 audio channels?

I saw a thread on that question somewhere in one of these forums; the comment did not make sense to me until I read your question in the way your brought the circumstance forward. I'll try to find the thread and refer it to you.

There is nothing special on Polar Express I ripped this one with Decrypter. As for the extra Titles pick Title one that is the English ver. Title two has French credits and Title Three Spanish.

Thankyou everyone for all the input that was sent back, I used (DVD Shrink) and I got a good sound backup to DVD. I guess there is a problem with (1Click DVD copy) when backing up " The Polar Express"
