Hi,
Can someone help? My Mom is leaving for Russia tomorrow morning and I have to unlock her phone before she goes.
She has a T-Mobile (USA) 3220b
IMEI#: 356668000818637
I don't know if its a DCT3 or a DCT4. I also don't know what the ASIC # is?
I tried 'ultimate calculator v1', but the codes didn't work. Also, should I put the codes in with the SIM card out?
Any help is appreciated.

Try without sim 1st and if nothing happens, insert a non accepted sim and you'll see "phone restricted", press "undo" and enter the code here and press enter or OK.

Hi,
Thank you for helping. I put in a different SIM and clicked undo, then entered the code...but it did not work. says 'phone restricted'.
Any other codes I can try?

Try without sim!!

Hi, I tried without SIM, but the phone won't let me. Keeps saying Insert SIM..won't do anything without it.
I tried those 2 new codes, but they didn't work either. Any other ideas?

Something isn't right with that phone if it doesn't allow you to enter anything with the sim out. Using the instructions below should put the code on the phone. Have you tried inserting a non accepted sim yet and trying the 1st code? #5, #7, #1

without the SIM card I type in the whole code and then nothing happens when I hit #. So then when I hit send, it says "emergency calls only".
these 3 codes didn't work.

Again, insert a non accepted sim card!!!!!
The phone will show "phone restricted"
Press UNDO
Enter the code in the box provided.
Press enter or OK. Use code #5 first.

Even if this phone is unlocked, there are only 4 networks in Russia that would have compatable service for that model. GSM 1800 MHz is the one that your model would use. The 3220 can use GSM 850/1800/1900 MHz and nearly all networks in Russia are all GSM 900 MHz except for only 4 of them. She would have to be in one of the locations that uses the 1800 and the chance would be slim as large as Russia is. Just a thought for you to look into.
