If you live on the East Coast and are lucky enough to be near a B.J.'s Wholesale club they currently are having a sale on these very disks, regular price $19.99 but there is a $10.00 off coupon available at the front door, with a $5.00 rebate from Fuji, so you have a 50 pack of these very good disks for only 4.99 plus tax.
The wife is going to brain me if I come home with anymore of them.
www.bjs.com to find one near you.

just gotta wait until BestBuy/Staples has a sale on Fuji 8x/Sony 8x DVD+R MADE IN JAPAN media~ :) then you can get some more for yourself since you don't have a membership card either (i don't have one, so the pricing on them will be like $35/100 pack spindle when on sale @ BestBuy/Staples- Staples HAD the 30-pack colored Fuji's about a month ago for like $10...that's like $0.30 each~) SWEET DEAL~

juss gotta be patient...and MAKE SURE, you find the ones that are "MADE IN JAPAN", Fuji/Sony 8x DVD+R, if you don't see this, then they are NOT going to be Taiyo Yuden made~!!

Just out of curiosity, what do the Made in Taiwan Fuji's code out to?
I've noticed that some of the +R's now are made in Taiwan.

the MIT Fuji 8x DVD-R could be one of the following, but i've seen the latter more often: FUJIFILM03, PRODISCF01~ :)

the MIT Fuji 8x DVD+R is either RICOHJPNR02 or RITEKR03~ while these 2 are "better" than their MIT 8x DVD-R counterparts, if i had to decide, i would ONLY get the MIJ ("made in japans" as you know how biased i am about the TYS -YUDEN000T02-) hehe. for the price, get the MIJ...but, if you want the RitekR03s, you can get them MUCH cheaper with the Office Depot branded 8x dvd+R~ or the Maxell 8x DVD+R MIT when on sale @ Office Depot~

Just where on the label can you find "made in Japan"? I may need glasses but Ive never been able to find this on the fuji packs.

@jackthe
Look on the bottom of the label, below the UPC.

I am getting a little nervous because the number of MIJ Fuji's are shrinking and they are being replaced by the MIT versions. My wife is threatening to put a hitman at the door to BJ's to persude me to keep out of the place. Could have sworn I saw my pic posted at customer service the other day with some sort of warning as well.

yes, it's right there under the UPC coding (proof of purchase)...

my
Quote:
MADE IN JAPAN * FABRIQUE A JAPON
is the last line under the UPC bar coding at the very bottom...right under "Visit our website * Visitez notre site Web: fujifilmmediasource.com"

good luck~
