PPPOE PS2 Setup

Hi I have a wireless linksys router, D-Link Game Adapter and I have PPPoE settings on the router. I would like to know if the PS2 will do PPPoE and how to configure the PS2 for it. I've heard ppl say that u need the ISP Username and Password and some more passwords, but im not exactly sure what that means, how to check to see if i have them, and how to find them. If anyone could help u'd be great!!

if you're hooking up the ps2 through the router then you don't need to setup username/password because you're not using pppoe to connect the ps2 to the net it's the router that connects using pppoe. The only way you'd need to setup username/password on the ps2 is if you were going ps2 directly connected to the dsl modem. So, just use the automatic setup and it should work just fine.
