Alright... I'm trying to rebuild two games (NFS:MW and Castlevania : Curse of Darkness). I went to read the ISO onto my computer through DVD Decrypter (been using this for many months, no problems.. buffer would stay at 100% easily at all times). Well, it was ripping fine, so I open up firefox to read an article, check back, the buffer is at 0. It wont more. I restarted the whole program, same thing. Closed EVERYTHING except for DVDD, same thing. Then I restarted, same thing. I even switched drives to my other DVD-ROM drive and it still wont read it over 0 buffer. I have my HD set on Ultra DMA 5 mode, so it isnt that...

Any idea? Castlevania has choppy video every once in a while, NFS:MW doesnt even run right. If its anything, I'm using Memorex media b/c I ran out of my Ridata and TDK.

Hi there is sounds like the lesson I learned from making a lot of coasters. When you are ripping or burning you are using a lot of CPU power, and when you went surfing on the internet you interrupted the burning process which results in choppy, skips or freezing. What I do is set up my burn and walk away, watch TV or do something else while the computer is working. Plus make sure you knock down as many running processes that are not needed and turn off all you can in your system tray that you don't need. And one more thing some software have a real problem with anti-virus programs, plus do not let your screen saver run either.

Well, I understand that... but I even stopped all the processes and it still wont go above 0. I restarted my computer and only have that program running (with the needed system ones of course) and it wont go above 0.
