Messed up ribbon cable or failed modchip

I just installed DMS4 EZI Lite on my friend's V7. Everything went so flawlessly except for I accidemtally made a hole (almost) on the memory/controller ribbon cable. I just reassembled it and turned it on anyway, and it won't boot up. I don't know if this is related to the ribbon cable (36-pin). The light goes from red to green alright when I pressed reset button and I can hear the DVD spinning. However, the screen only goes blank. I am really screwed because it is not even mine!!

Is there anyway to know what caused this problem and how to fix it? If it is the ribbon problem, where should I buy the spare cable?

Thank you for reading this and I will appreciate much if you can reply with some thoughts.

did you flash the chip with the Toxic flash?

With the EZI Lite you need the new ToxicBIOS V1.4
If you did then i have no idea what could cause that.
Could be so many things.
