Playing PS1 backups on PS2 using MC Exploit

I've been reading heaps of threads on playing ps1 backups on ps2. Some people say that you can the MC Exploit to play PS1 backups. I've already installed the MC Exploit and am trying to find an .elf that is capable of playing PS1 backups, where can I find one?

Sorry man, but it's not possible yet. You can play your ps1 backups on an xbox oddly enough.

My friend has a copy of Breaker Pro. If I burn his copy, can it play in my ps2? I'm using Swap Magic 3.3 to load my backups. I was pretty sure though that the breaker pro was a ps1 disc...because it's able to load in ps1's. So will a copied Breaker pro work? If not, is there any type of PS2 boot disk that'll be able to load PS1 backups?

I really don't know how to boot PSX games. I've never had a need to since i have a chip. I think your best bet is to sift through the forums or look for products on google that can do the job.

well, thanks for the info man...I appreciate it heaps. In the mean time I use my PSX emulator to play my psx backups, just lags a bit though and the graphics aren't as good(I have a crappy VGA card).
