What are the errors.

I did this movie last night with AnyDVD and DVDShrink. No problems at all. I do reauthor everything as I have no need for all the extra crap (IMHO) that the movie people put on them.

Do you mean you are having problems burning to disk?

You may be having problems with your Media. What type of discs do you use? Use DVD Decrypter in ISO Write mode and post the Media ID.

There is also a chance you need a firmware update.

Had no problem copying with AnyDVD and DVD Shrink 3.2 but cannot copy using AnyDVD and Clone DVD2 because I get not the movie soundtrack of the actors and sounds but two commentaters talking. Using Shrink it comes out perfect - cannot understand why the problem

@alsie

When using Clone make sure you uncheck your 2 channel audio and only keep the 5.1, the DC's are always in the 2 channel and your player will default to that. If your DVD standalone remote has an audio button put your burned DVD in and use the audio button to select the 5.1 this should get rid of the DC's.

arniebear can you answer this for me. I have taken my copy I made using Shrink and gone back into CloneDVD2 to make a copy of that but I get that commentator soundtrack again on the newly burned disc. Does CloneDVD2 have or goes back to the original settings made on my first bad copy and not revert back to the copy made using shrink? Is there a hidden folder somewhere in my system that I can delete or correct this situation? Suggestions appreciated and thanks for clueing me in on unchecking the 2 channel audios (do I uncheck all if more than 1?)

arniebear - you got my vote for man of the year. Your advice worked. Who says you can't teach a old dog a new trick? wonder how many other things I don't know about this program (CloneDVD2) that I should. If your privy to making some suggestions I am open to taking them. Again thanks for taking the time to help - don't want to admit to how many coasters I wasted trying to get it right before your suggestion. I will uncheck everything on audio except AC3 (5.1) from now on.

Glad it all worked out for you, I made a couple of coasters myself before I figured out that just getting rid of 2 channel got rid of the DC's. Of course if you get the old movies or TV series that only have 2 channel then you keep it, otherwise your player will default to 2 channel anyway unless you have home theater. Good luck and happy burning.
