Kind of questionable, from what I hear and from what digitalFAQ says: http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm

That said, I've heard of people using Prodiscs with their PS2 without any problems. But it really all depends on your burner -- some burners can produce quality burns even on so-called third-class media. Every burner's performance with a specific media will vary, it's just that "higher-class" media tends to perform more consistently across a wide variety of burners.
