do you need a sony memory card for your backups to save and load correctly or is it just certain games that need a sony card?

i know some1 had triuble wit Resident Evil 4 are there any other games? or are all games that way?

Nope, you can save backup saves on your normal ordinary ps2 memory card

i know u can save to a normal sony memory card im asking if it would work with non sony memory cards (ie. madcatz, pelican, etc.)

cuz i know sum1 on here had trouble saving Re4 to a diff kind of memory card

it has nothing to do with the backup, it's the game that is causing the problem it has been discussed on the offical capcom forums.
