Need help please! My sons disk tray won't open up. The machine is about 2 yrs. old. He plays it alot. Any suggestions on what might be the problem? Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

could be that the ribbon cable for the eject is damaged
or has come loose.
Does it even try to open or make a sound of any kind like
it is trying to open?
There is also a gear on the bottom of the tray that if it get off
track, the tray will not open.

get a swap magic slide tool and use that,, is if your tray wont eject saves you money on getting it repaired and new parts,, u can just get the slide tool for a few pounds..

or you could get the swap magic disc's and slide tool for around £15 off ebay..so your playstion will be able to play backup games and imports.
