I tried to use the dvddecrypter and followed the guides from this link. But how do I burn my dvd now and to what prgram? What does it mean when there is a CSS/CPPM (copy right protection system type)? I even tried to use the Anydvd and it wouldnt remove it. What are the steps to really copy "Racing Stripes" or "Finding Nemo". Please someone help me. I really am not that computer literate so I would appreciate if you could put it in layman's terms. Thank you

Hi dragon and welcome to Afterdawn.
Is your version of AnyDVD up to date??
DVD Decrypter will burn the movie.
Next off is there a picture of a Red Fox down by you clock??
If not then you should click on the icon on the desktop to start the program. When it's running you should see the Fox.
Next or you getting error messages??
If so copy them and put them in here so the crack folks here can read and tell you what is going wrong.
And lastly before you doing anything more, you have to use good media (Blank Discs) cause once you get this figured out. You'll run into the fact that you did everything right but it still doesn't work.

http://www.supermediastore.com/

I have bought discs from here for a good price.
I recommend Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Sony.
And if all else fails read the instructions.
I don't know if I helped you, but hopefully it's a start.

Thank you for answering my distress call. I really had my doubts that someone would reply back. First of all I'm not sure how to use AnyDVD, I know that I just loaded it on my computer and the count down is on! Secondly my computer freezes up when it gets to 77% and 43% buffer. I thought it must have been something that I did wrong so I used the information that I received on DVDdecrypter and "tweaked" the program. The computer froze up approximately around 77% and 42% buffer. I really wanted to copy Racing Stripes. Thirdly, I was able to get Madagascar on my C drive but have no clue on how to burn it onto the DVDdecrpter. I cannot get to the "source" which would be my C drive because when I press OK on the file of Madagascar and it automatically opens up the files and I press OK nothing happens. I really am learning about burning but it seems so frusterating when I should actually be grading papers for my students. I copied instructions from http://www.1clickdvdcopy.com/usersfaq.html#encrypted, scuba pete and http://www.afterdawn.com/guides. So I have been trying to go step by step. I will try to click onto AnyDVD but the fox is on my desk top and I dont know what to do with him except get count down on so many days....Thanks for your patience.

Hi, just thought that I would chime in. Take a look at the guides that I have posted in my signature block. There is one specifically for AnyDVD and CloneDVD and for DVDdecrypter and DVDShrink. If you follow them step by step, exactly, you will get through the process with excellent results.

Now to the matter of freezing. Please provide some of your system specifications. CPU, RAM. DVDShrink is intensely CPU intensive using almost 100% of the processors ability. Make sure that you do nothing else while burning backups. Your system may also be overheating. Try putting a fan in front of the computer to assist with air flow. That is what I do with every burn, and I have a strong system.

I hope that this helps.

Feel free to post back.

Cheers.

dragon007,
You need to use AnyDVD to do Madagascar and Racing Stripes. DVDDecrypter can do Finding Nemo.

To use AnyDVD if it is not loaded in the tasbar( lower right) all you need to do is click on the Foxes Head on the Desktop. If you look in the Taskbar then you will see the Foxes Head go from Red to no color. Insert the DVD Movie in the DVD-Rom and look at the taskbar again and after a few seconds you will see the Foxes Head go red. That means it is OK to start Shrink and process the movie as AnyDVD will now automatically remove the encryption as you use Shrink.

If you are having problems 77% of the movie decrypted it might be a bad mastering press. Try cleaning the movie and if it happens again take the movie back for exchange.

If you have Madagascar already on the HD then use Shrink to process the DVD and you can use Nero or DVDDecrypter to burn the compilation and that depends on how you set Shrink up. Look at the guides that 9mmruger1 told you about in his Sig line and use them. Try to do Movie Only first and then after you master that then you can go to other ways to do the movie

Thank you for all of you replying. I need to back track and say that the dvddecrypter freezes during Progress Current: 82% Total: 43%. I had mentioned buffer and got mixed up between buffer and total. It was from the top of my brain, since I do it at home rather than at work where I have my e-mail and can connect with all of you.

1: On the task bar is the red fox; when clicked on it opens a window:
Summary for drive F: (AnyDVD)
Drive (Hardware)Region: 1
Media is a Data DVD
Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1) Layers 2 (opposite)
Vido DVD (or CD) label: RACING_STRIPES
Media is CSS protected
Vido Standard: NTSC
Media is locked to region(s): 1
RCE protected is not found
DVD structure appears to be correct
Changed firstplay: Jump directly to Title 1
Structural copy protection not found
Autorun not found on Video DVD
Bad Sector protection not found
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1

Do I do anything with settings or just close the window? The red fox does'nt change color just pops up that window. I just made it minimize the window and then opened the DVDdecryter.

On the DVD Decrypter I tweaked the settings just like Alkohol had mentioned to do:
Tool -> Setting -> at General on “Removal Method” arrow down to “Aggressive”
I/O-> check “Ignore Read Errors”
File Mode -> check on all of the Remove, Ignore, Patch and Create MDS file.
CSS-> check “Brute Force -->I/O key exchange,
On Failure: use key from another file [YES]
ISO Read Mode-> check on all Remove and Create MDS file
A) once you’re done with the settings, click OK to get out from the settings.
B) put original movie in "DVD-Rom drive ” *(if you have an additional DVD burner)
or put original movie in “DVD burner” *(if only you don’t have a DVD-Rom drive)

Instead of burning it onto a DVD, I am putting it into the C drive which it automatically creates a file for Racing Stripes but please read on.

What is a CSS KEY on the AnyDVD? I need to go home so that I can get my system specificatins, CPU, RAM, and could somebody tell me what not to run at the startup? How do I know that AnyDVD is working? There are so many things that are checked and I am afraid to touch anything on that in case my computer wont work. Why doesnt the Fox's Head go from Red to no color? Why does the window open up with all its' specs? When I close the box does that mean the Fox isn't on? I really truly appreciate all of your help and will get the other info tomorrow. Thank you.

DVDDecrypter can not do Racing Stripes as it will never be updated again. Did you read my thread on how to operate AnyDVD, It explains it in detail. AnyDVD does not give you the decryption key. The foxes head will turn red when the DVD is inserted and the decryption process has began. Then you can compress the movie. Make sure you have the foxes head on the Desktop. When I am not using AnyDVD I right click the foxes head in the taskbar and click on exit. Make sure the only thing that has a check mark next to it is enable AnyDVD. Now when I need AnyDVD I click on the foxes head on the desktop and the foxes head in the taskbar appears. You do not want to keep AnyDVD running all of the time as it can interfere w/ other programs

Has anyone who has said it will work actually tried copying racing stripes w/ AnyDVD, or are you just assuming it should work? I can't get one of the VOB's to decrypt at all.
