Well, "Cinderella Man" is no simple burn because it's a two sided disc with the titles special features located on side B. I backed up the "Main Movie" side "A" to my hard drive using SHRINK and then the "Special Features" side "B". The special features consist of 4 separate files, I added all four to the main movie using Nero Recode2 "Remake A DVD" and then backed up side A and side B to a single SONY 4.7GB 8X DVD-R successfully. I tried this same process a week ago with a movie called "Sleepers" which is also a 2 side DVD with the actual movie content split between side A and side B. When doing this you create a few second break (black screen) before the 2nd half resumes, again on the same disc. No trouble with Fantastic Four. Both good movies.

@gossettk9

If you will reread the original post, AnyDVD was running behind DVD Shrink to back up these movies. But as creaky stated, not needed in all cases.

or if you use DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD set it up this way

To use DVD Decrypter in conjunction with AnyDVD as stated per Olli ->OF SLYSOFT AND CloneDVD

Proceed to the DVD Decrypter Opening Page - Tools - Settings

I/O Tab - Click on "Elby CDIO-Elaborate Bytes"

General Tab - un-check "Check For Structure Protection"

@halkyra

Looks like you should update your Nero to the current version as well. I think its 6.6.0.18 now.

Your burner also has a firmware update to GD30 get it here:

http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces

Try and re-rip after the updates.

Make sure you run AnyDVD first. You will see the fox icon in the task tray. Next put in the origonal dvd. Wait for the fox head to flash pale and then dark red. Now open the ripping program and proceed as normal.

Cheers.

- yup, Nero's too old to recognise your burner, update to 6.6.0.18, download "update package 1" from here - http://ww2.nero.com/enu/nero-up.php

- the ATAPI drivers are supposed to be listed in this section, sorting the DMA out as advised further up, will resolve this..
