Hey I was reading that anydvd will unlock FBI warnings and other locked advertisement/anoying spam. Has anyone unlocked these forms of spam without using anydvd? What im talking about is the ability to fast forward or skip the anoying FBI threats. Anyone found these on the disks without just reauthoring and getting only the title movie. Would be nice to edit the ads and threats while keeping menus and other usefull items. Just a thought.

Who are the FBI and what warnings do they give? I've never seen them on any of my rips.

Seriously, just about any ripping program can circumvent this annoyance - my main tool is DVD Shrink using Re-author mode and doing movie only - get rid of all the unnecessary crap.

colm, I use shrink too and reauthor mode is good for movies. However TV shows and multi episodal DVD's you need the menu to select show #2-whatever so in order to keep the menu you must keep everything (at least with shrink) what I want to kill is the anoying crap before the menu comes up and all the people who posted with specific programs thanks for the help some of them are very advanced and will take some getting used to. Thanks
