Question about ripkit for DVD9

When you rip a DVD9 into seperate discs, what happens when you try to play it? Because i'm supposing that it doesn't tell you to switch discs since the original is on one disc.

You should try rebuilding the game to see if that will bring it down to DVD5 size, or use a DVD5 rip kit (like the GT4 one) to get the size down.

I see. But how about for games like Xenosaga? I found a ripkit that makes it 3 discs, but what happens when you play the game, and come to the point where the next disc is needed?
