Defo worth the money.

Since Madagascar, I use DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD in the background,
then use shrink to compress the movie and Nero to burn.

I know most movies don't need all that stuff and shrink will work fine alone but more and more new releases are going to have the same protection as Madagascar so might sa well be safe and do it this way to not waste any more discs on failed burns!

I did fantasic 4 this way with no problems, though that was after failing to backup my original copy and going through 3 rental copies before finding one which a) would play on my xbox and b) would rip without errors. I'm still convinced there are some badly manufactured original discs out there!

Xbox 1.6 Executor3 EvoX 120gb
Custom white case, controler port and power button blue LED mods.
AMD Athlon XP 2.2gig, 120gb 7200rpm HD
512mb PC2700 ram, Delta Audiophile soundcard.
27" HD LCD, 450w dolby digital system.
