Can you provide the full log? That's merely half of the log. However, one of your DVD-ROM driver's DMA is Off. You'll need to enable DMA back On (it's not that critical since it's not your burner, but nice to have DMA on).

Here is a successfully burned (full log) of mine. Take a look at it and compare them and see if you'll notice any differences.

And here is to enable one of your driver's DMA back on.

((To enable DMA back ON by "uninstalling" its driver ?for Win XP users? by alkohol))

Here are some helpful pictures for references.

A) on "DESKTOP" right click on "MY COMPUTER," left click on "PROPERTIES"

B) left click on "HARDWARE," left click on "DEVICE MANAGER"

C) left click on + sign of IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers

D) double left click on either ?Primary? or ?Secondary IDE Channel?

E) left click on "DRIVER," left click on "UNINSTALL"

You will see a "Warning: you are about to uninstall this device from your system," just click "OK," now "SHUTDOWN" or "Restart" your computer
F) once you restarted your computer, Windows should automatically detect your DVD burner?s drive and re-install it for you. That's it...easy as smoking!!

**NOTE: do these steps only if the above process failed to bring DMA back on, or you can do exactly like the above steps, except this time you "Uninstall" it from the ?DVD/CD-ROM Drives?

****at Device Manager****
(A) left click on + sign of DVD/CD-ROM Drives
(B) double left click on your DVD burner or your DVD-ROM drive
(C) click on "DRIVER," "UNINSTALL," "OK" and then "Shutdown" or "Restart" your computer. That's it... easy as smoking!!!

Hmmmm... that's a tough question there. Since you don't have Nero no more, you can get DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter and DVDFab Decrypter.

DVD Shrink - will encode and compress DVD9 into DVD5 (4.7GB DVD+R, DVD-R)
DVD Decrypter - will rip, decrypt and burn
DVDFab Decrypter - will rip and decrypt only

All of them are free.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

imgburn is the best program for burning made by lightning uk that made dvd decypter. must be iso image which can be created by shrink or clone or decrypter. it handles the burning fast and make sure you burn at about 2-4x and use good dvd media like verbatim and definately not memorex or any that code out to be cmc-mag which are most cheap media you can find. they cause skipping errors most of the time.
