can i burn half a dvd?

I have a dvd with two movies, however I only want to burn one. I have extracted the files for 1 movie using decrypter but dvd shrink does not recognize... is there anyway I can encode half a disc (1 movie only)

Yes, back the separate files up to your hard drive using SHRINK or it's Re-Author feature. You can also use Nero Recode2 "Remake a DVD" feature.
