action replay max and swap magic disk trouble

gah

i went to another thread regarding this but it just doesnt work for me. I booted up ar max, selected my codes. I ejected the tray and put the swap magic disk in. When the thing said "Launching Game", i pulled "both" of my memory cards out (my ps2 one and the AR one). Then when swap magic booted up i "swapped" it using my slide card for my backup.

Nothing..... all i ever get is a black screen. It seems that the disk isnt even spinning. I tried normal and special boot.

What am i doing wrong? The backup works fine on its own.

the game is probably a rebuilt image, thats the reason it wont boot, try it with a non rebuilt game, or if you want to play codes with rebuilt games enable only 1 code and try again, make sure you do the slde thing preperly. everything else you are doing correct.

i did find a execlent disc that loads with swap magic, try to search for 'ar max for swap magic' on some bittorrent sites, this lets you play cheats with backups and you dont have to swap so many discs, the only down side is it only works for american games, but if this is not a preoblem for you then it's good to use it.

Can you give us a link on where to download this air max that boots with swap magic. Cause i have air max but its too scratched to play and i need a backup that works
