I was being kinda sarcastic, don't let the mods here you say you copied a rental dvd on here or you'll get a slapped wrist.

(I already made that mistake, but explained that I rented one to try afater failing to copy my own disc and had a feeling my disc was dodgy)

@ chrisfunk

how difficult is it to mod an xbox? ive seen plenty of tutorials...but i mean looking at the pics and actually doing it are two different things. do you have any pics? and last but not least, how much NOT including the XBOX did u spend on the mods.

I know this is a PS2 question, but it's in regards to this guide.

alkohol - will this work for PS2 discs? My son's backup went bad and he's been using the original. He recently came to me and said his originaly was freezing at a certain spot. Looked at it and it looks like there may be a tiny scratch about 3/4's of the way through. This is where it errors out in DvdDecryptor. Is it even worth trying for a PS2 disc. Oh, exchanging the original isn't an option since we've had the game now for over a year.

(I don't know why he didn't load it to his Hard Drive - man kids these days)

Thanks
