hi everone i posted a thread a while back but got no replays so here i am again..

my ps2 would only spin the disc 90 degress and then would stop.
so i put a new motor into it and it does the exact same thing..
lazor seems be fine flashes red and moves ok etc just the bloody disc..

can any1 help me i am rli fed up with it lol..

hi maybe you should get a new drive for your ver ps2 i had the same problem and i got a new drive and iv had no problems up till this day

which section in the drive as tere are mny peices tht make te whoe drv wich part did you replace. i have all the neccery parts available.

I had a similar problem like yours, but that was when i was adjusting my lens. I guess that the lens is either too close or too far from the CD/DVD so it doesn't recognise it. In order to fix it i turded the screws on the side of the lens arm (the part that slides on the shiny steel rod. When u turn it clockwise the lens is raised, anticlockwise lowers the lens.

I can't gurantee that it will work for you, but it was what did it for me
