Problem with Matrix Infinity - Please help!

I just replaced my Apple modchip with a Matrix Infinity so I can play backups online.

I tried an original disk for online gaming first and it would not allow me to go online because it detected the Matrix Infinity. If I disabled it right at the beginning (before boot up) it would play online.

I thought the Matrix Infinity turned itself off automatically after the booting process?

How am I ever going to be able to play backups if I have to disable the modchip before boot up?

What am I missing here?

Dude, I dont have a modchip but i know alot about them, I know MAtrix has the disabling system. Maybe you should read the instructions? or search on google.

Yeah I read the instruction. There is not much to it. You disable the chip when you first turn on the PS by holding the start button. Like I said, if you disable it before you get past the boot up, you will not be able to boot backups.
