I was going to softmod my friend's xbox.. he has one of the origional releases of the xbox that doesn't automatically have xbox live on the dash.. I can't softmod it with Krazie's 2.8 evox or unleashx without his xbox having xbox live on the dash already.

Does anyone know if there is a way, other than going and getting an xbox live disc, to get xbox live on his dash?

just get a game that can b playd on xbox live like halo2 put the game in the xbox and turnit on when it comes up to the main game screne select xbox live and it will start to install xbox live just leave it and it will install and then u can do the softmod
