Hi I'm new to burning ps2 isos on dvds with dvd decrypter, and for some reason it burns fine but it wont play in my PS2 Slim...Ps2 says "please insert ps2 or ps formatted disc". The particular game I burned was King Kong. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I used a simple Staples blank DVD+R disc.

By mod do you mean mod on my ps2? I have none. Original PS2 slim w/no addons. Correct me if thats not what you're asking.

Yep that's what I was asking...

without some form of mod (modchip or swapmagic combo) you won't be able to play any copied discs... it's simply not possible with a stock(unmodified) console. sorry!

for more info on swap magic..check out the link in my signature line.

to find out about modchips and how much they cost etc, it's probably best to do a google search for the word "modchip installation" or variant of, and include the country that you're in..that should take you to a site that does modchip installations and give you more info on them hopefully.
Also, you can check out the threads in bold at the top of this forum, they hold a lot of great info for newbs.
