Has anyone tried this yet. I have tried twice with no luck using Anydvd and Clonedvd2. Goes so far and then has cycle redundancy check failure. Just seeing if anyone else has had his problem.

This error is normally caused by a dirty disc, try cleaning disc thoroughly and use good quality medium such as Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. If you are using Memorex then expect a few problems

Although I'm fairly new to CloneDVD myself (a longtime DVDxCopy user, although I can't imagine going back now) I would have to agree with gwendolin that the message almost has to mean a dirty original disc. I've run into that a few times with my originals (went through a long stretch of buying Blockbuster PVP - what DO people do to movies when they rent them??) and normally after giving it a good clean job it will read just fine. Also, do you have one or two drives? I normally read from my DVD-ROM and write to the DVD-RW drive...but sometimes if the first one gets that message I'll start reading in the DVD-RW drive (having to switch it out for the record media later) and that also helps sometimes

Thanks. I checked the disk and did not see anything. I'll clean it and try it again and keep you posted. It's one of those dual sided disks with 2 different versions with one on one side and another on the other side of the disk.

Actually just checked this disk again and it is defective. You can see a place inside the disk in the shape of half a circle. Goes thru to both sides. Guess I could not see it until I got directly under my lights here. Never seen an original one that looks like it separated. Thanks again.

got the same error on my disk, cleaned it, checked it and still got the error with CloneDVD and 1Click. Tried a different track, decrypted the disk with DVDFab and re-encoded the files with DVD Shrink (CloneDVD couldn't read the files saying they were in an unrecognizable format). Once the encoding was done DVDShrink burned the files to a 4.7g disk and it was perfect.

I'm taking my disk back this morning and making them replace it. Looks like inside was shattered. Go figure.

Just wanted to let everyone know what I found out. Seems only 1 in 3 Cinderella WIDESCREEN versions play normally. Seems that the other 2 out of 3 were damaged in creation leaving them unplayable. Full screen editions are ok. Looks like the film inside the disk was ripped before the disk was sealed. I returned the disk for a full refund and they said they should be getting more in later. Somebody must have not been doing their job and the machine was hungry.

I upgraded to the latest AnyDVD (which came out today) but then used DVD Fab Decrypter, and that read it in with no problem, after that I was able to use DVD Shrink, and I chose to re-author with only the main title.

Hi all,

I had no problems with the widescreen version. Used DVDD to rip main movie to HD, then Shrink and burn with DVDD.
