The last bunch of games I have burned have all been not valid ps2 discs. I'm using DVD Decryptor to read and write. The games are Blitz The League, Call Of Duty, Midnight Club 3, Shark Tale. I have tried rebuilding them to see if that makes a difference, still no luck. Is there something wrong with my SM disc or PS2? Or could it be the programs since the old games I burned all still work the same? Does it matter if I've had the files on the computer for a couple weeks before I burned them?

I'm having the same problem with Madden 2006. But this is my first time trying it, so maybe it's me. I extract the downloaded file with WinRAR and use Nero to copy the image to a Sony DVD-R. I've tried it at both 2x and 4x with no luck. I've also tried using a Memorex DVD+R at 2x. I'm using SM3 and it works with a regular PS2 game. Any ideas?

nope doesnt matter if they have been on the pc even for a year you might need the newer version of the swapmagic or it could be that you are burning games that have an on line function and you will need the dna for it try search on google for the dna eg. dna for call of duty something like that or you might be using the wrong media/dvd disc you should really be using Taiyo Yuden, Ritek, Verbatim or Sony DVD-R's they work best with backed up games
one of them should fix your problem
hope i helped
