How do you rip the DVD after the decrypter puts it on your hard drive ?

I think you're a bit confused on the terminology. DVD Decrypter rips it to your hard drive and removes copy protection on most DVDs. I say most because Decrypter is no longer supported and there are newer releases that it just won't work on.
But after Decrypter rips it to the hard drive what you do with it is up to you. You can burn it to a dual layer disc or run it through a transcoder to shrink it down to fit a single layer disc.
Since you posted this in the Shrink forum, I'm going to guess you want to open it up your ripped DVD in DVD Shrink. How to open it depends on which mode you used to rip the DVD in Decrypter. If you used File Mode, then simply click <open files>. If you used ISO Read mode, then click File>open disc image.

There is a great step by step guide in my signature block for DVDShrink and Decrypter. If you print it out and follow it step by step you will be backing up your DVD's in short order.
