dunno if this works for madagascar but a similar posting under the thread name "I Can't Get Past Sky High, HELP PLEASE!!!!!!" has a very good series of steps by jaguargod for copying sky high, which they said has a similar protection scheme as madagascar. it uses DVD Decrypter in MODE / FILES, then VobBlanker, and then u can use shrink on the vobblanker set of files to shrink it.

i recently did Madagascar effortlessly with DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.6.0 (free) then Shrunk with DVD Shrink as normal. what i did do was use my dvd-rom/cd-write combo drive (like io do for most of my ripping); didn't try to rip it on any of my dvd burners as i'd done the movie already but it's always nice to have a couple of optical drives..as if a movie won't play ball on one drive you always have a choice of drives to use..

Newest ver of DVD43 that just came out also works on these movies if you're looking for a free (but not nearly as good) Alt to Anydvd

otherwise the DVD Decrypter / VOB Blanker works on Sky High

Just use caution when using AnyDVD and DVD43. They may cause a conflict on your system if used together.

Magic DVD copier and Magic DVD ripper work well on all new releases wirh ripper protection. Magic DVD Copier you can do full disk or just the movie. Magic DVD Ripper its like DVD Decrypter but you can also convert to DivX or AVI.
