I'm down to my last try for my Nokia 6820b. The problem is that I'm not sure if I have an AT&T or Cingular phone after their merger. For what it's worth, when I turn it on it shows AT&T Wireless. The serial # is 352968001535113. Any good soul out there who'd help me out?
Also, as a backup, does anyone know where to find a cable or a service to unlock it for me through hardware?

I had a nokia 6102b I needed unlocked. I tried searching forums and trying my own codes, but no luck and if you do your research there exists a certain risk when attempting to unlock your nokia phone yourself. See RISKS below:

Could someone help me please. Because AT&T was bought out by Cingular, they made me change my phone when they gave me a new sim card. Now I can't use my Nokia phone 6820(b) since cingular does not carry this phone. That sucks 'cause my sim card won't work in my AT&T phone. They tried to unlock my phone, but the code the guy at Cingular tried didn't work. Could you please help with a code that will work.

Just wanted to say that "www.unlock123.com" is legit. I was reluctant to try them, as I had been told not to give away my IMEI #, but after 3 failed attempts using codes posted on this form, I decided to give unlock123.com a try. They gave me the right unlock code for my Nokia 6820b (which was previously locked to AT&T). So I definitely recommend them. Best 5 bucks ever spent.
